Mr Vassilis Mantas, Doctoral Candidate, Open Innovation Management Mr. Vassilis
Mantas is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Management Science and Technology
in AUEB, researching Open Innovation Management under the supervision of the
Associate Professor Eric Soderquist. He has studied Mechanical Engineering in
the Technological Institute of Crete (1994) and also holds an MSc in Engineering
Design from Loughborough University (1995) and an Executive MBA from the Athens
University of Economics and Business (2004).
The main job positions he has hold in the past, were in BSH SA (2002-08) as a product development engineer for household appliances, in Mechatron SA (2000-01) as an entrepreneur in mechatronics systems design and integration, and Megaplast SA (1997-98), a packaging materials production company, as machinery design engineer and international sales development. Currently he is a faculty member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Technological Institute of Halkida, teaching Engineering Design, Production Management, Business Administration and CAD, as an Applications Professor. |
