Krystallia Syrigou is a Doctoral Candidate in the Management Science Laboratory (MSL) of the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business. She has received a Bachelors in Tourism Management from the Technological Institute of Larissa, Greece, and an MBA-International Master in Business Administration from the ESCP, Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris, in France.
She has more than 10 years of professional experience in the Hotel industry, either as an employee or as a consultant. She also worked as a consultant for TUV Rheinland Hellas S.A on a project for the Greek Ministry of Tourism regarding the creation of a Greek standard for the country's hotels and apartment's classification according to "stars" & "keys".
Her research interests involve Service Quality Management, applied in the Hotel Industry.
