Creativity is increasingly recognized as a core driver of organizational success and societal progress. The UN highlights creativity as a pathway for nations to leapfrog into high-growth sectors, while the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs report ranks creative thinking as the second most critical skill for workers today—and the one most likely to grow in importance over the next five years. This talk will draw on cutting-edge research in the science and neuroscience of creativity to explain how creative thinking works and how it can be cultivated. We will explore how creative potential varies across individuals, cultures, and domains, and what this means for diverse organizations. Special attention will be given to the intersection of creativity and AI, to the role of creativity in employee well-being, and to evidence-based tools for assessing and strengthening creativity in real-world settings. Attendees will leave with science-supported insights into how leaders and organizations can harness creativity as a sustainable competitive advantage in an AI-driven economy.
