Analysis & Modeling of Business Processes and Systems

Course Description

Theoretical frameworks methods and tequniques used currently for studing analyzing designing and managing work systems supported by ICTs.

Three basic pillars structure the course:

• Theoretical framework combining work systems, business processes and IS as a basis for business analysis and design of organizational systems and technology
• Basic methods and tequniques for analysis and modeling of business processes emphasing the use of information systems with the use of ARIS toolset.
• Implementation and value creation of analysis and modeling results for performance management and strategic alignment of information systems.
