International Workshop in Memory of Efthymios (Mike) Tsionas, 11–12 September 2025

The Department of Economics is honored to announce the organization of an International Workshop in memory of the distinguished scholar and academic, Professor Efthymios (Mike) Tsionas, who recently passed away. The event aims to highlight his outstanding scientific contribution to the field of Econometrics, as well as his broader impact on Economic Science. The conference will also serve as an opportunity to honor the memory and personality of an exceptional individual who, through his work and presence, inspired colleagues and students alike.
